Name: Facilitating JAD Sessions
Course Code: BUBA108
Duration: 2
Scheduled Dates for BUBA108
Business needs and requirements are not always translated into the functions and cases that meet these needs. It requires a skilled facilitator who can ask the right questions and manage participants who are sometimes demanding. In a successful JAD session, there is sufficient structure and direction to gain consensus on software requirements, application design, process re-design and prototype development.
In this workshop, participants will prepare for and participate in several exercises to develop the skills necessary to facilitate JAD sessions. They will learn to work with customers/users, gather information and manage conflict. They will develop a complete and focused agenda that will help participants to achieve their goals. The program culminates in a mini JAD session.
